This alien squid prop was made for a module of the Model Making & VFX course at The Northern School of Art. The prop is made from two pieces of cast silicone and has a hollow that can be filled up with slime and cast silicone guts. The head section contains cast J-Foam to give an interesting texture inside. I produced a short video that shows the prop being used.

I made a multiple-part fiberglass-supported Vinamould mould and cast the squid in Smooth-On Dragonskin.
