This scale model is of a decorative doorway found on Miller Street, close to George Square in Glasgow. The real doorway is heavily weathered sandstone, worn down by the wind that rushes down the street, but I experimented with finishes, painting my model as fresh, glistening black marble. To work with this aesthetic, I designed a custom fan light with an esoteric pattern to help tell a mystical story.
